6 months old!

Today I am six months old!

Wow! Time sure flies when you're busy like me!

I've been trying lots of new foods.

I like turnips, carrots, cauliflower,

potatoes, and avocado!

I'm not so fond of bananas. But I LOVE sweet potatoes!

The other night I went to Maggie's house for taco night.

Mom had tacos. I had a bottle. And Maggie fed it to me!

One of my new favorite games is rolling over on the changing table.

It is hysterical. I especially enjoy flipping over right when Mom

is changing my diaper. Then I give her a real struggle when she tries to

put my jammies on. Ha! So sometimes I get dressed upside down!

Oh, and did I mention that I'm pretty big? I'm over 20 pounds now!

I'll update you with the exact figures after my doctor appointment,

but let me just say that even though I'm the youngest baby at school,

I am the second biggest!

One more tidbit--- I am crawling! I haven't mastered it completely,

but I can definitely get from one end of the room to the other!

Sitting up!

I am almost 6 months old and I can officially sit up!

My big belly helps me balance.

I love playing with my turkey from my cousin Olivia.

And lately I've been getting to know a new friend,

R2-D2!

I'll stick with the veggies

I have been eating a lot of vegetables lately. Sweet potatoes, carrots, turnips, parsnips, squash. You get the idea. Tonight Mom gave me this new food group -- fruit. She tried to feed me a banana. Yuck. I'll stick with the veggies.

Basketball!

I had a very big weekend. My Grandma Tiny and Grampa Jim came for a visit.

So we took them to a basketball game at Dad's college.

It was my first basketball game. Boy was it loud!

Mom came too, and some friends Adam & Janelle.

Even though GWU lost to Harvard, I had a great time with my Grandpa.

And Grandma Tiny and I did lots of silly things,

like making funny hats out of my t-shirts.

Hysterical!

Laughing out loud

My mom can be so funny. The other day she was playing peek-a-boo with me. You might not find it as silly as I did, but I think she is hysterical! I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Waiting out the winter

These cold days sure are yucky, so I've been stuck inside.

Thought I'd try some new things, like tasting different foods...

Working on the sippy cup thing. Haven't quite got it down yet...

Reading some periodicals in my favorite chair. . .

And playing with my truck. Vroom vroom!
