Chicago in the winter

This weekend I went to Chicago to visit my family.
It was my Great Uncle George's 70th birthday party.
Happy birthday Uncle George!
I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins.
I met Robert and George Greer for the first time.
George and I had dinner together.

And of course I had lots of fun times with my cousin Olivia.
She is the funniest!

And since it was so cold and yucky outside, I spent a lot of time
jumping in my Grandma Tiny's house!

Standing up!

This weekend I went to visit my cousin Olivia.
She knows how to walk, so she taught me a few tricks.
She showed me how to pull up into a standing position.

Now I'm getting into lots of trouble!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day from me to you!
I've been pretty sick, but I got to spend the day with my Valentine...
my mom!

My Star Wars shirt is the only pinkish thing I own,
so that's what I wore today.

In addition to going to the doctor, again,
I read a Valentine's book...

but found the tissue paper it came in far more interesting.

Hope you spent the day with people you love!

Big moves

Even though I've been sick, I've been making some big moves.

I can now sit in the baskets at the stores. It is sorta fun. I get to look around while Mom shops. But sometimes I get cranky, and then we have to leave!

And this morning I decided I wanted to climb up the stairs!

It is not easy to get up those stairs, but I tried hard.

And then I laughed and laughed and laughed.

6 (and a half) months old

Today was my six-month appointment (even though I turned six months old on January 26th). I am a big guy, as my trendy track suit implies. I am 21.3 pounds. That's huge! I am also 29.25 inches long...Dr. Wheeler says that's in the 100th percentile! Dad is ready for me to try out for the Duke basketball team. I'm really still into sweet potatoes, but recently I've tried some new foods like avocado and bananas. Peas are ok. Brocolli is yuck! I am crawling all over the house and Dad had to put up gates so I wouldn't fall down the basement stairs! I like to taunt Camden (my dog) and drool.... a lot. I also like to bang things on the ground, play with my friends at Brown House, and look at the baby stuck in the box in my dining room (see my post from February 6). Way fun. Unfortunately, I have two ear infections right now. But you'd never know, because I'm still the happiest little man in Bethesda!

Crawling!

Baby stuck in a box!

There is a baby stuck in a box in our dining room!

I tried to get him out.

But I couldn't figure it out.
So I gave him a kiss.
