Summer happenings

Just because my mom hasn't been great at keeping you all updated doesn't mean I haven't been a busy guy this summer.  I've been going to a super fun camp during the mornings, and our afternoons and weekends have been filled with trips to the swimming pool, spray parks and playgrounds, and even fishing.  I had a wonderful 4th of July at our friends' house, the McDonald's, to watch the coolest parade ever!  I saw my first play at Imagination Stage (Mouse on the Move), I've been to a few birthday parties and had lots of play dates, and I'm taking a gymnastics class.

I'm 3 years old!

On Friday I turned 3 years old!  It was an excellent birthday.  I got to spend time with my family and friends, and I got lots of toys.  I even had a special gymnastics birthday party with my friends.  They had this crazy caterpillar -- you could climb in the mouth and come out its butt! And we bounced on trampolines into foam pits and played with a big parachute.  It was a blast!

Tybee 2013

When school got out last month, we went on a big trip down to Savannah.  We stayed with Doh-Doh and Mike, hung out at Tybee Island at the beach, and had tons of fun.  I got to spend time with lots of my relatives from both Georgia and Chicago (Grandma Tiny & Grampa Jim came for a quick visit too!).

I played in the sand almost every day and learned about tides.  We had tons of great food and ice cream! I took a visit to Oatland Island and Fort Pulaski.  Doh-Doh and Dad took me to a puppet show, and when it was over I got to make my own puppet.  And one day I even went crabbing.  We didn't catch any crabs, but another fisherman on the pier caught a stingray and it was awesome!!
