Cousin Christmas photo shoot!

When I visited Chicago last week, Grandma Tiny gave me and cousin Olivia matching pajamas. They are totally adorable. So we figured we should have a photo shoot. It didn't go exactly as planned.

I had trouble looking at the camera...

And Olivia kept moving ...

She also preferred to sit on her mom's lap . . .

so we had a few tears . . .

Then I tried to comfort Olivia . . .

But she pushed me away . . .

So we tried a new position on Aunt Meg's lap . . .

but just ended up playing on the floor.

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a great Thanksgiving I had! I flew on an airplane to Chicago (slept all the way) to visit my Grandma Tiny and Grampa Jim. I met lots of relatives, like Mom's cousin Natalie!

I went to my cousin Olivia's house. She was so excited to see me!

She gave me a turkey which I spent a lot of time chewing.
We played together with her fun toys.

And I gave Aunt Meg a lot of kisses.

On Thursday Dad got me dressed in my turkey outfit and pumpkin hat. I was ready for the festivities.

Olivia wore her party dress and we took lots of pictures together. Unfortunately, I did a lot of drooling and thus the pictures didn't turn out too cute.

Here I am with Mom, Olivia, and Uncle Sam. We went to a party at Aunt Joanne's house. Good times!

Grandma Tiny and Grampa Jim were so happy that I came for a visit.

I also met my Aunt Joanie and cousin Jacqueline. Here I am showing them one of my new kissy faces.

Cousin Sam, Uncle Sam, and Baby Sam (that's me!)

Isn't my cousin cute?

Finally, before we left town on Saturday I got to meet Mom's good friends, Mary ...

...and Ravi.

It was an excellent trip!

Hanging with my bud Caleb

Last weekend I met a new friend, Caleb! He is a year older than me, but I am sure that we will be hanging out and having fun together soon!

Things I like to do

Here I am getting ready for a bath.
I love to hang around the house in my robe and slippers . . .
and read the New York Times.

I also enjoy technology. Here I am sending emails and surfing the web.

I am a budding artist. It's a turkey, can't you tell?

Ear infections and exer-saucers!

I've been a busy guy! For the past couple weeks now I have been flipping over and sleeping on my belly. I really like to sleep on my face.

I've also been playing with my dad a lot. He takes me on hikes and sometimes we play in the basement in my very own play area!

But disaster struck this week. I was not feeling very well at school. Got a runny nose and my eyes were goopy. No fun. Turns out, I had an ear infection! Here I am on my way to the doctor.... look, my ears turned into horns! (Just kidding, but isn't this the coolest hat?)

So I spent a lot of time at home this week. Some days were better than others. Here I am playing in my dream meadow.

Since I've been at home, Aunt Ma loaned me her exer-saucer. It is so much fun!

I take it very seriously.

So many fun things to look at!

First day of school

Yesterday was my first day of school! I go to Holton with Mom. Here is a picture of us on our first day.

She goes to the Middle School, and I go to "Brown House" with all of the other Holton babies. I've got lots of new friends to play with everyday, and many nice ladies who take care of me.
Here was my report from the first day:
"Sam had fun stretching his muscles in the big room with his baby friends around. He was bundled up, and got out in the cold to get some fresh air."
Even though Mom had a few tears, I had a really fun time!

Happy Halloween!

Well this was a very busy weekend.
Mom made this ridiculous Ewok costume for my first Halloween.

Mom dressed as Princess Leia.

We went to a pumpkin carving party at Aunt Ma and Uncle Ta's house.
I fell asleep.

Mom carved this green alien.

Then Kristin and Marty came to visit from Philadelphia.

I love visitors!

We ended the weekend visiting my friend Anna.

She dressed as Princess Leia too!

And I met Darth Vader . . . scary!!!!

Happy Halloween!!
